Scott is a crossover dramatic Baritone with an upper extension who is known for his emotional, and powerhouse interpretation. He has performed music theatre and operatic repertoire on stages across the western region of the United States, and currently resides in Denver, Colorado. Scott’s voice has been described as a “one of a kind” sound, and is recognized for its dark quality and raw power within live houses. Scott was born and raised in Los Angeles, and while growing up was lucky enough to absorb from Stephen Schwartz, Eric Whitacre, B.D. Wong, Davis Gaines, and several other legendary cross-industry artists. He attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) for Music Theatre and Opera, and went on to train at UCLA Opera, The Boston Conservatory for Music Theatre, and ISU school of Theatre. Scott is a journeyman studio musician and enjoys playing piano whenever afforded the opportunity, whether onstage, for his students, or as a rehearsal accompanist. Scott has been acting and singing professionally for over two decades and has been performing onstage for the past six years in regional theatres across Colorado.
